Beading Babes in Beadwork magazine

Yes you read that right... BEADWORK magazine!

Michelle Mach, the Contributing Editor of Beadwork magazine contacted me a little while ago saying that a few of the staff were intrigued by Beading Babes.

She said Beadwork would like to include Beading Babes in the W.O.R.D. (What Our Readers Did) section in one of their upcoming issues with a few pictures of some of our Earthly Hues pieces from Project 2 as well as a little information about our wonderful beading group!

I can't tell you how excited I was to open the email from Michelle and can't wait to see some of your work in print!

This group would not be successful without all of you wonderful ladies so please give yourself a big pat on the back.

I can't put into words how appreciative I am of your support and also how happy I am to have met such a fantastic group of friends.

I am yet to find out what issue the piece will appear in but I have a feeling it may be April/May but will let you know once this is confirmed.

HOW EXCITING IS THAT!

Karyn, you are the inspiration behind the group. Your enthusiasm, and your idea for the group is the essential part of the success. Being a part of this group of wonderful ladies has been such a blessing for me, and working on the projects has made me grow as an artist. So, big hugs to you!!!!

How exciting!! Makes me wish I had gotten my Earthly Hues completed! lol
I absolutely love being a part of the Beading Babes and look forward to each project with excitement! Karyn, you are a huge inspiration and a great friend, ever since that first day with the dreaded Dragon Bangle, you have been so nice and encouraging! Thank you so much for putting together the Babes and keeping track of our projects and reveals! You've really opened up a new world of stitching for me and have taught me a LOT about color choice and beading. Can't wait to see the issue!!!

Congratulation to all you BABES and especially to Karyn for getting this off the ground. One of these days, I'll join you but for now it's great fun to see what you're all doing. Keep up the great work!

I sent mine in too, Michelle, is so wonderful to want to let the readers of Beadwork know about the Beading Babes. If it weren't for you Karyn there would be no Beading Babes. So thank you so much for putting our group together and allowing those that want to join along to do so no mater their skill level or where they may live.

How Fantastic! I have to agree with Horse'N... Wish I'd gotten an Earthly Hues project completed as well! But it's still incredibly exciting! LOVE this group! :-)
