Someone recently told me that it is roughly 9 weeks to Christmas so I thought I'd better pull my finger out of the proverbial and get started on making some presents.
"someone". I can't say who it's for incase the sticky beak is looking!!
I have to admit I love peyote.
I haven't done a cuff in such a long time and now wonder why. Peyote is such a relaxing stitch, one of those stitches that you can nearly do with your eyes closed.

The main beads in the piece are actually matte black and galvanised gold which looks a little peachy in my photo above.
Here is what the finished piece will look like...

What a lovely gift you're making! I also enjoy peyote, because it's so relaxing.
I've also started working on some little Christmas gifts, but they don't involve beads this time, just cross-stitch. Tssssh, I think I've said too much. :))
That is lovely! I love peyote bands too. I got my tilas, so I'm off to work on my beading babes project.
Thats absolut superb.

Karyn, I'm liking what I see so far and looking forward to seeing the finished cuff. Peyote was the first stitch I learned and is my go to stitch when I want to do something fast.

This is a really beautiful cuff Karyn! I'm eager to see your finished product :) I have a peyote stitch cuff I'm working on from time to time.. its just a basic cuff in gunmetal delicas.. just one solid color.. I'm still trying to decide on a closure for it though...
