I finally managed to get my Battle of the Beadsmith piece finished, photographed and emailed for entry with 2 days remaining!
What a huge relief...I am still trying to figure out how I ended up being so organised getting my entry in with two days to spare!
Unfortunately we aren't allowed to share photos of our pieces yet, I think not until at least all of the 80 or more entries have been received, so to wet your appetite
here's a sneaky peek at my piece.
Don't get too excited though...there isn't a lot I can show you!
What I can share with you is:
1. The piece is called A Nomad's Journey
2. It features 3 handmade clay cabochons
3. It also has some brass components
4. And lots of seed beads!

A big thanks to Steven Weiss for pulling this competition together.
There is chitter chatter that there will be a competition in 2013 but for now I will reflect back on my groovy badge Steven created for me to promote the competition.
Happy beading!

According to Stanford Medical, It is in fact the one and ONLY reason women in this country get to live 10 years more and weigh an average of 19 kilos lighter than we do.
(And realistically, it really has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret exercise and EVERYTHING around "how" they eat.)
P.S, What I said is "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
