This is a piece I have been working on for a few weeks now.
The focal is a gorgeous lampwork cabochon and the rope has been stitched in Herringbone.
I plan on stitching a peyote beaded toggle clasp but I can't decide how to attach the cab to the necklace.
I was thinking perhaps I could stitch a peyote bail as I have done in the piece below.
Or perhaps just a simple loop bail as below might look better?
What do you think would look best?
Any suggestions?

I think the tube type bail like you did on the necklace woth my cab would look good...along similar lines to the necklace...sleek!
Thanks Julz - I was thinking something heavier would look better.
Oh Karyn that is gorgeous! I like the bail on the second piece it looks a little sturdier.
Hugs
Very good!!
Beautiful!!!!
A simple loop bail.
I have no input because I am NOT a seed beader -- I'm just here to say how astounded I constantly am by your work. I've made exactly one seed bead project and it gave me a HUGE appreciation for what you do, the talent, the time, the artistry. You rock!
I like the second one. It has more texture that seems to go with the lines around the cab. Very pretty. And I too am astounded by seed bead work! It is incredible!
Enjoy the day.

Hi Karen :)
I think the second bail would suit better in my opinion!

Karyn why not do a flat herringbone bail, would fit in with the rope you have done and then also will suit the lines that are created around the cab?
Looking forward to seeing it finished.
Now that's an idea Vicki - you know I had not even considered flat herringbone!
Sure, Karyn, go ahead and post, and I'll just link to you on the 16th. with whatever post shows your piece!
