Yep I know I should be beading...especially with my piece for the Colorworks competition due on 15 June but I am on my last Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows.
My hubby and I were under the misconception that the first of the final Harry Potter films was being released in Australia in July 2010 with the second film being released in November 2010...hence the rush for us to both have all the books read.
We have just found out the that first film is not being released until November so really there is no rush to have them read now... other than the fact that we are dying to have the books finished!
I am up to page 327 of 607 pages in the very last book so not long to go for me and then I can get back into my beading and hubby can get back to playing his computer games!!
I have to admit I have been enjoying reading again and have never read so many books in such a short time!
Can anyone recommend any good books as it seems a waste to stop reading now!!

What kind of genre do you like? If you are into sci-fi I recommend David Weber and his Honor Harrington series (though a lot of his other books are great). If you are into fantasy I recommend Jim Butcher and the Harry Dresden series. I also love, love Anne McCaffrey and her Dragon Riders of Pern series.
I usually don't read fantasy books so Harry Potter has been something really different for me.
I love to read autobiographies as well as true crime. My niece is trying to get me to read the Twilight series so we can talk about the books as we have with Harry Potter but I am just not interested in them.
Hey if you want to read some really good fantasy sci-fi try Piers Anthony. His writings are fantastic.
